COUNTRY GREEN EXCAVATING

The Client

Country Green Excavating Ltd. is an Abbotsford, BC, based excavation and civil contracting company. Officially opening in 2018, Country Green has worked hard to provide the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley with expert-quality excavation, underground works, surface works, and environmental services.

They have maintained steady growth through the development of strong relationships with municipalities, developers, and other local businesses. And, while building a successful business, have made it a priority to maintain a safe and comfortable work environment for their employees. 

Along with providing excellent service and ensuring a safe work environment, Country Green prides themselves in their passion for customer service. With this in mind, providing their clients with a clean and user-friendly website experience was something they recognized as being long overdue.

The Objective

As a relatively new business, Country Green recognized that they were missing a website to represent them as a professional and credible business online. They needed somewhere for prospective clients to be able to learn more about their story, the services they offer, and a place to share their company vision.

They also noticed that their biggest competitors all had modern and purposeful websites and understood that not having a website was causing them to get lost in rankings on Google, making it harder for customers to find them. 

Along with developing awareness online, customer satisfaction was a key priority, and Country Green reached out to us with a strong vision in mind.  Develop a website that displays all of the necessary information while being easy to navigate and offering visitors a clear call-to-action.

The Approach

We started by taking a deeper look into Country Green’s biggest competitors to see how they utilized their websites to connect with their customers and prospects. It was important for us to have a good understanding of the industry and to ensure we had the right information and an appropriate call-to-action.

Next, we laid out a general format for the website and started piecing together the content. Country Green had a limited selection of photos to choose from, so we brought in our photographer to take crisp and well-lit photographs to showcase their service and make the website stand out. 

With the content and general layout in place, we began building the website. Our primary goal was to ensure users were able to easily find what they wanted while also making it easy for them to inquire about getting an estimate no matter where they were on the website. We utilized the new photos to capture attention, clearly labelled the navigation, and kept the content simple and informative to make it easy for customers to find what they wanted without having to sort through the fluff. 

Through a partnership approach with Country Green, we were able to combine our expertise in web design/marketing with their expertise in excavation and related services, to create a custom-tailored website that met all their requirements. This approach allowed them to get the results they wanted while focusing the majority of their time on what matters most, growing and building their business.

The Results.

With the completion of a new, purposeful, and user-friendly website, Country Green Excavation has been able to draw prospective clients to their business online through organic search on a variety of search engines and social media. 

Their strong call to action – a “request a quote” button – offers their clients an easy way to connect with them to find out more information or to get down to the numbers on their specific jobs.

As a result, Country Green has seen an increase in overall website traffic, leads coming from digital channels and have begun implementing other forms of online advertising to promote their new website.
